BARBELL STRONG:
An advanced class learning to move barbells more proficiently. Followed by a flow of barbell movements strung together OR A COMPLEX OF MOVEMENTS. Beginning with a solid warm up then move to PVC pipe for technique. 2-3 main lifts for each class performed as a group in flow. Once all rounds are completed separately, you will put them together forming a barbell complex. Finished off with your main complex or lift worked into a short metcon. This is a great class to enhance your barbell skills, build strength, endurance, and torch fat!
*A barbell complex is a series of movements performed back-to-back with a barbell in which the set number of reps is completed for each movement before moving on to the next.
*The goal of a metcon session should be to achieve and sustain a high effort output over a short period of time, with as little rest as possible between work to make your body more energy-efficient, or fitter,” says Wright.
